We are accepting Scholarship Applications from students until April 7, 2023.
Granite State Credit Union is proud to partner with the Cooperative Credit Union Association in offering the “Credit Union College Scholarship Program”. This program was designed to support efforts of credit unions in recognizing the outstanding talents of college-bound students, who themselves, or their parents or guardians are members of a sponsoring credit union such as GSCU.
This year the Credit Union College Scholarship Program will award three, $1,500 New Hampshire scholarships.
Eligibility Requirements for Participation:
- Eligibility is limited to high school seniors who will be enrolled in an undergraduate college/university degree program during the 2023-2024 academic year.
- Applicant or parent/guardian must be a member of the sponsoring credit union (Granite State Credit Union).
- Each applicant must complete a current Scholarship Application and submit it with the other required material to the sponsoring credit union.
To Apply:
Students must submit the following items with their completed applications. All items requested must be received for the application to qualify for consideration.
- Completed printed Application.
- An academic transcript of grades.
- A typewritten essay of at least 250 words describing what career you wish to pursue when you complete your education and why.
- A detailed list of extracurricular/community and/or volunteer activities.

New Hampshire Credit Unions will select its scholarship winners by evaluating each applicant on the same criteria - grades, essay, and extracurricular/community activities.
Deadlines: Granite State Credit Union is accepting Scholarship applications from students until April 7, 2023 and will send the top three received to the CCUA NH Rep for final review of the state applicants.
No purchase necessary. Eligibility is limited to high school seniors who will be enrolled in an undergraduate college/university degree program during the 2023-2024 academic year. Applicant or guardian must be a member of Granite State Credit Union (GSCU). Employees and volunteers of GSCU, and their immediate household are ineligible to participate or win. Applications will be accepted from March 1, 2023 through April 7, 2023 and must be submitted to scholarships@gscu.org. To enter, participants must submit their completed application, academic transcript of grades, a typewritten essay of at least 250 words describing what career you wish to pursue and why, and a detailed list of extracurricular/community and/or volunteer activities. One entry per participant. Three submissions will be selected to be submitted to the final round of voting on April 14, 2023. Winner will be chosen by the State Scholarship Representative of NH and notified on May 1, 2023. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these official rules. Winner agrees to allow GSCU to use his or her name, likeness, and information of their submission in any GSCU publication, including GSCU’s website and social media pages. Winner agrees to hold Granite State Credit Union, its directors, officers, employees, and agents harmless. This promotion is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, or LinkedIn. Void where prohibited by law.
