I love Fall. I have to be stopped from decorating for Halloween at the end of August. I really enjoy the crisp mornings, pumpkins, autumn décor, and coziness of the season. The changing of seasons isn’t the only reason I love this time of year. It’s also my favorite time at the credit union. We are always looking ahead at what is next and during September we are even more focused as we begin budgeting for the next year. Fall is also a great time to look back at all we have accomplished so far this year. We always take time to celebrate our successes, our employees, and our members with some great surprises this time of year.
One major accomplishment this past year is our brand new Nashua branch located at 190 Broad Street! This new location is a huge improvement from our previous building with ample parking, four drive-up lanes, and private offices for members to conduct their business. This is a safe and secure location ready to serve our thousands of Nashua area members. We were able to sell our old building, and with our long history of positive financial results, we were able to build the new location without any additional financing. This branch was designed in response to member critiques of our old Nashua location. We are so excited that the branch is now open and our staff is ready to welcome you!
I would also like share that our Nashua location, as well as Manchester and Concord so far, offer the convenience of Interactive Teller Machines (ITMs). The ATMs in these locations were updated with new technology that provides access to a Live Teller during business hours and ATM service 24/7. Members can now complete a variety of transactions and interact with a GSCU Live Teller through video at the ITMs. This means now you can complete almost any transaction that you would do inside a branch at the drive-up! If you haven’t already visited one of these new ITMs, check out our video demonstrating this service here.
Another surprise for our members is the opportunity to win a BOLD GSCU Prize Bundle with a customized Cornhole set, Yeti cooler, and $50 Hannaford Gift Card! We’ll be announcing the winner on Credit Union Day, October 21st so don’t forget to enter here.
And as we wrap up the summer there is a limited time for you to still take advantage of ALL the special bonuses GSCU has running right now! Anything that Moves will end soon and right now, if you close on a vehicle loan with GSCU, you’ll be entered to win your 2022 payments covered by GSCU! There has NEVER been a better time to finance with us! Thinking ahead to snow? Planning to attend the Epping Grass Drags October 8th – 10th? Don’t forget to take advantage of our low Anything that Moves rates by getting preapproved now for your new snowmobile! Or maybe a side-by-side ATV is more your speed so you can check out the trails at Jericho Mountain, or simply get a more reliable car for the upcoming cold weather. Check out the details here.
Are you in the market to consolidate debt? NOW is a great time for that too! When you close on a debt consolidation loan with GSCU you can get up to $250 deposited back into your account! You can even apply online, and close electronically, so you never even have to leave your home! Learn more here.
Finally, with the colder months and flu season right around the corner, please be aware that GSCU is encouraging members to wear a mask when visiting our branch locations. We continue to monitor COVID-19 cases throughout the state and work diligently to provide a safe place for members to do their banking.
2021 has already been an amazing year and I can’t wait to see what else we can do in the next few months as well as in 2022. Thank you for being a part of GSCU’s success! And as always, if you have any suggestions, thoughts, or questions about GSCU, your accounts, or anything else please use our “Talk to the CEO” button on our homepage to communicate directly with me and the other members of our Executive Team. Your feedback and satisfaction is important to us! And don’t forget to put your pumpkins out soon!
