Branch Lobby Closures/COVID-19 Update

All GSCU lobbies remain closed. We continue to serve our members at our drive up locations.

Effective May 14, 2020 all drive up locations will close at 5:00pm on Thursdays

Nashua & Seabrook locations do not have a drive up and remain closed


Due to the increase in electronic service usage we have seen a significant decrease in the use and need for extended Thursday hours at our drive up locations. For this reason, effective May 14th all drive up locations will close at 5:00pm on Thursdays. Our new hours at our Amherst, Candia, Concord, Derry, and Tilton drive up locations are 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM Monday through Friday and 8:30 AM – 12:00 PM on Saturdays. Our Harrison Street Drive Up location in Manchester is open 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Monday through Friday and 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM on Saturdays. As always, our Contact Center services and Live Chat on our website remain available around the clock.

COVID-19 is having a large impact on our members, staff, and overall communities. Due to the evolving situation, we continue to monitor CDC and government updates and assess our members' banking needs. We remain committed to meeting your financial needs. Together, we will get through this pandemic as smoothly as possible.

Steps GSCU Is Taking:

  • Beginning Tuesday, March 17th all branch locations will be converted to drive-up only business to continue safely serving members. GSCU lobbies will close but all transactions can be conducted through our drive-up lanes.
  • Our Nashua and Seabrook branches have no drive-up and will be closed beginning Tuesday, March 17th. We recommend members utilize Shared Branching, or visit our Amherst and Candia drive-up options instead.

Steps Members Can Take:

  • Remember that cashless is cleaner and utilize our Visa Debit Cards and Mobile Wallet Solutions including Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Samsung Pay
  • Access your accounts 24/7 through OnLine Banking and Mobile Banking
  • Deposit checks via Mobile Deposit
  • Take advantage of online loan applications and remote loan closings
  • Utilize our 24/7 Live Chat & Contact Center for further needs
  • Be aware of recent financial scams relating to COVID-19

Receive Your COVID-19 Economic Impact Payment - Faster and Safer! 

The IRS has begun issuing Economic Impact Payments. Please be aware of delivery methods and the latest scams related to the COVID-19 pandemic. 

Check Delivery Options

  • If you have utilized direct deposit to receive your federal tax refunds in the past, your Economic Impact Payment will be automatically deposited to your account that was used in 2018 or 2019. 
  • If you have not utilized direct deposit for your tax refund before, the Treasury will be creating a web portal for individuals to set up direct deposit of this check
  • If you opt to receive a mailed paper check, members can utilize GSCU's Mobile Deposit in order to deposit these funds quickly and securely from home. 
  • If you do not typically file a tax return but receive social security or railroad retirement benefits, you will receive your payment the same way you would normally receive your benefits, either by direct deposit or paper check. 

Avoid Scams

  • The official term is Economic Impact Payment rather than stimulus checks or payments. 
  • Do not sign your economic payment checks over to anyone else. 
  • Do not provide any personal or banking information to others. 
  • The Economic Impact Payments are being released in rolling phases as determined by the government. The IRS will be creating a tool on their website to check the status of your payment.
  • Be wary of any checks you receive followed by a phone call to verify online information in order to cash it.
  • Please wait until the funds show as available in your account, rather than pending, before using the funds.
