Expected Duties

  • Process deposits, withdrawals, member loan payments, etc.
  • Investigate and resolve member account questions/problems
  • Cross sell GSCU’s products and services
  • Assist the team in reaching branch goals

Branch Specialist

Expected Job Duties

  • All aspects of Member Service including effectively cross-selling all GSCU products and services to existing and potential members, and identifying and acting upon sales opportunities.
  • Identifying member needs and offering solutions that deepen the financial relationship with Granite State Credit Union.
  • Assisting the team in reaching branch goals and increasing business in the branch. This includes facilitating team challenges and competitions.
  • Accepting consumer and real estate loan applications, preparing loan documents, and handling member loan closings. Actively seeking and obtaining loan steals.
  • Researching and resolving member account questions and issues.
  • Assisting the team at the teller line as needed.
  • Assisting the team in after hour call nights, community events, and networking.
  • Provide coverage to other branches as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Application for Branch Specialist

Consumer Lending Specialist - Manchester (full-time)

The work you will participate in:

  • In this position you will be responsible for processing loan applications through various origination channels (incoming phone calls, third party vendors, online etc.)
  • Review loans for decision and relay decisions to borrowers
  • Prepare loan documents, schedule loan closings and process loan closings/disbursements
  • Process loans through the indirect lending channel (CUDL)
  • Answer incoming phone calls from members calling in regarding consumer loan requests. 
  • Provide lending support, assistance, and training to our branch network
  • Assist Consumer Lending  in meeting its goals by participating in  sales promotions and competitions which includes inbound and outbound sales campaigns

Application for Consumer Lending Specialist

Mortgage Underwriter - Manchester (full-time)

The work you will participate in:

  • In this position you will be responsible for the timely and accurate underwriting of residential mortgage and commercial loan files.
  • Work within secondary market guidelines to determine eligibility of loan applications.
  • Develop member, staff, and vendor relationships and attain sales goals.
  • Complete monthly reports and other duties as assigned.

The Skills We Want:

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Pride in producing quality work, demonstrable attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent organizational, time management skills; must be adaptable to constant change.
  • Experience with mortgage processing and underwriting. Strong familiarity with Fannie Mae guidelines and experience working with secondary market loans.
  • Knowledge surrounding all lending related regulations including HMDA, Regulation Z, Regulation B, and RESPA
