In 2021, GSCU continued to navigate challenges presented by the ongoing pandemic and its impact upon business operations across all industries. With a comprehensive business contingency plan in place, GSCU ensured that branch drive-ups remained open to serve our members’ needs. And GSCU also realized tremendous growth, new opportunities and positive trends this past year!
We’re heading into our busy season at the credit union and I am excited that we are doing so with open lobbies, some great new staff, and awesome opportunities for our members!
While drive-up only service allowed us to remain open throughout the last few months, even with staffing difficulties, we are happy to have so many new team members joining the credit union and helping us welcome you back at each of our locations. Thank you to our members for your patience as we navigated these challenging times. Please stop by to say hello to our staff, hear about new opportunities, and complete your banking needs in-branch once again.
2021 was a challenging yet exciting year. We appreciate your membership and support as we continue to look ahead to 2022 and beyond.
I want to thank you for your patience and kindness towards our staff during 2021 as we managed some challenges caused by COVID-19.
I love Fall. I have to be stopped from decorating for Halloween at the end of August. I really enjoy the crisp mornings, pumpkins, autumn décor, and coziness of the season. The changing of seasons isn’t the only reason I love this time of year. It’s also my favorite time at the credit union.
Summer has finally arrived! And after this past year I am sure many of you are excited for warm weather, relaxing days on the lake, long road trips, camping under the stars and other summer fun activities.
Warmer weather is in the air, vaccines are being distributed, and many businesses are opening back up. It’s beginning to look like a beautiful Spring for 2021!
2020 marked the 75th Anniversary of GSCU, and the credit union had plans to celebrate throughout the year. But with the onset of the worldwide pandemic, the credit union was faced with unprecedented challenges. A comprehensive business contingency plan, already in place, allowed GSCU to swiftly shift to a pandemic business-model. This ensured we could continue to keep branches open and serve our member’s financial needs.
I know many us of are thankful for 2020 to have come to an end and are looking forward to better days ahead in 2021.
Dear Members:
I want to thank you for your patience and understanding as we experience extraordinarily high demand for teller and call center services. We are aware wait times are longer than are typical of GSCU and continue to do our best to respond to your needs as quickly as we possibly can. I personally ask for your patience as you interact with our employees who are doing the best they can to meet your needs for information and cash access.
We’re heading into the final few months of 2020 and as the cold, snow, and holidays arrive, I am thankful to be looking back on everything 2020 has brought us.
